Happy Days - a telugu movie

Well!! I being from Hyderabad was not very much fond of telugu movies but when I got married and moved to Bangalore…, Missing has become a common word in my dictionary now. I miss my Parents, friends, college days, my colony, previous office, hobbies ….etc. in that list it also includes telugu songs…..movies and the language!! Its very rightly said that distance makes you know the worth.

This time when I went to Hyderabad, I was asking my brother which Telugu movie is good and to that he told me that he heard “HAPPY DAYS”!! is a good movie!!
I thought maybe its a children’s film. Later, I came to Bangalore and got a chance to watch the movie!! to my delight, the movie was about college life.

Rewind to the good old college days...Walk down memory lane...Go on a reflective trip. Well these could be some labels to describe the film Happy Days. The film is indeed a huge portion of college life -- the days and years which are cherished/ embedded in most minds. Watching the film is indeed sweet and refreshing -- a aroma of fresh air which has permeated the celluloid horizon otherwise stuffed with mostly stereotypical and run-of-the-mill fare. But in Happy Days, the positive side of student life is highlighted. Imagine a film revolving around four years of life in an engineering college. Its beautifully crafted by the writer, the director, the characters in the movie ….which makes you want to go back to college!! As indeed they are the Happy Days!! You could have been in. The film unfolds with freshers, ragging, hostility between the seniors and juniors and their fights, freshers' parties, friendships between freshers, jealousy, competition, love, betrayal, crush on the teacher, sentiments, campus interviews and spending happy times together. Get set to wind the clock back.

Though I have done my MCA and was in only girls/women’s college still I could related few things of college life from the movie!! I miss my college days so much now. All the while in college it was like when will we get a job and become independent. Now that josh is something I miss! All the meaningless laughters, all the fun, treats for every small and big reasons, oh! the exam preparations. … All the post "Dil Chahata Hai" promises and schedules of keeping in touch with each other no matter what, all the crazy photo sessions and autograph books, and how any one could forget the very touchy and teary farewell party. I cherish all this even now.
I am sure the engineering students would have had lot more fun in the four years of college life!!

A must watch movie!! for all generations as the story is well told. The storyline of Happy Days is very simple but a simple story may sound easy to film but on the contrary it is not -- it requires perfect story telling to keep the audience engrossed.
Happy Days is one of the best Telugu movies I have ever watched and I am sure it will revolutionize the Tollywood. What a movie!!!! I liked the movie and the songs are very melodious. The movie has a unique freshness which is its USP. This movie was a treat to watch as I did not have any expectations when I was watching the movie but as it progressed and the way it was narrated makes the movie just fabulous!! it was like one of your friends narrating a story to you! That’s the attention you will end up giving the movie “Happy Days”. For a good movie even language will not be a barrier and I am sure those who will not understand will be able to follow the movie! Don't miss Happy Days for you will be reminded of the Happy Days gone by. Really one of the best Telugu movies I have ever watched.
